CAMP HERO AWARDS

"A movie about a Cuban kid during the Cuban Missile Crisis is engaging. The fears he feels are all explored, whether it’s for his family’s well-being or his own. It makes for an  intriguing story as he acts in response to these fears. It’s a unique perspective to a well  known historical event."

THREE MILE HARBOR AWARDS

"This ambitious script intertwines the mystery of Captain William Kidd’s seventeenth century buried treasure with seemingly sinister military research into teleportation in the present day. ...Three Mile Harbor approaches the legend of Captain Kidd’s treasure cache from a different angle, focusing instead on Captain Kidd’s beautiful widow, Sarah, who married four times. Sarah’s first three marriages were brief, ending in her husbands’ deaths. This script not only suggests that Sarah was independently hiding Captain Kidd’s loot but also adds the original concept that Sarah was experiencing some kind of telekinetic powers that enabled her to acquire wealth. Three Miles Harbor covers new territory as well by inventing the story of Sarah Kidd’s descendant, Roberta, who apparently has inherited some of her ancestor’s teleportation powers. Roberta appears to be trapped in a menacing military experiment in the present that also may be related to the search for Captain Kidd’s lost treasure. "

AWARDS FOR THE SCRIPTS AT THE CORNER OF HITLER

AND GOERING

"Reading At the Corner of Hitler and Goering is a shocking, sad, and riveting experience. Beginning with the deeply unpleasant revelation that Nazi sympathizers indoctrinated American children at summer camps, and then ending with the liberation of a concentration camp in World War II, the story examines Jewish- American identity in a new, engaging way. It heavily focuses on the importance of having a purpose, and of living with intention; it makes clear there are still some facets of life untouched by moral ambiguity." -Wiki Screenplay Contest
